COUNCIL OF THE SOUTHERN CHEROKEE NATION - A TREATY TRIBE (14 Stats. 799)

The next meeting of the Council of the Southern Cherokee Nation will be held at the tribal headquarters in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma in May, 2013 with the specific date to be named at a later time.  All tribal members are welcome to attend the Council session at the tribal headquarters located in the Canadian District south of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma in order to understand the issues facing our Nation today.  If you have any questions, please contact the tribal office.

The names of the newly elected Council will not be listed due to harrassment and threats made to these members through the public listing of their names on this website.  Any tribal member wishing to contact their Council members may do so by email through the website.  

At no time does the Southern Cherokee Nation solicit money from its members so if anyone is contacted by anyone claiming to be soliciting money in the name of the Southern Cherokee Nation, please contact the tribal office as these are parties perpetrating fraud in the name of the Southern Cherokee Nation.
